Three fishing buddies staying here and it was so nice and comfortable. We fished all day and had a great place to clean up and walk a couple blocks to restaurants and bars. Each of us had a bed and bath to ourselves! I’ve stayed at airbnb and VRBOs in many states and a few countries and this is one of the best. Very clean, the beds are comfortable and the showers are awesome. We enjoyed the welcome grab bag with wine, snacks and most of all “Huckleberry Jam!

We had 3 generations staying at the White House an...
We had 3 generations staying at the White House and it accommodated all of our needs perfectly. The house itself is lovely, decorated in a modern mountain style which was clean and open. The living room and long dining table were large enough for 6 people comfortably, but the most remarkable feature is that the bedrooms are spread apart in the home giving each space its privacy and own bathroom. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to make family dinners and the backyard fire pit was a nice place to hang out together. The charming town of Ennis is 3 blocks away, making the location perfect for walking around. From 75 to 7, all ages agreed it was the perfect place to stay and we hope to be back many times.

This home was absolutely PERFECT!!! There were 3 of us that stayed in the house, a room and bathroom for each of us! The home is decorated perfectly, with perfect space for meals, and games! The work out room was a great addition.
We can't wait to return!!

Very nice property conveniently located in town. Kitchen is well stocked with the necessities. Use of the garage was a plus for us as we had plenty of fishing gear. We will be staying here again next year.

My brother, sister and I flew in from different pa...
My brother, sister and I flew in from different parts of the country for a get together with another sister who lives nearby. We were just delighted with the house.... clean, wonderful location, abundant wildlife , and relaxing hot tub and outdoor fire pit. A very nice welcome basket awaited us filled with local goodies. We did not need to communicate with the host as everything g was clearly explained and in working order. Just adored this home and cannot wait to return.

Wonderful property in great location
We had a great time in Ennis and will be booking this house on our next visit! Barbecue, gym, walkable to town, big yard w deer passing through daily, we didn’t use the hot tub but it’s there if you’d like!

Great stay! Hating leaving!
The White House was a perfect retreat for our family vacation. There were 5 of us/4 adults and 1 teen. The house was clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and the town was quaint and amazingly friendly. There was live music in town several evenings during our stay, the shop workers are such a delight, and the pizza from Burnt Tree was delicious!! Very close to Virginia City, where we spent an afternoon and even panned for gold in Nevada City. Within an hour of everything we planned, YS, Bozeman, Big Sky, and it was a special treat to find Norris Hot Springs which was a huge hit for the family. We spent 2 evenings there during the week. Host was amazing, very responsive when I had questions, and she was personable. If I am ever staying in this area again, this will be where I stay. THANK YOU for sharing such a beautiful and cozy home.

Awesome white house on Ennis Street on the awesome town of Ennis
My 3 brothers and I reestablished a fishing trip we took with our Dad years ago. We traditionally stayed local motels but now have found the White House on Ennis street. The house was perfect and relaxing after long days of fishing and the hosts could not have been more accessible and accommodating. If you are fishing on the Madison this is the only place to stay- although please don’t book it when we return 🙏.
