This is a treasure of a property. The pictures don’t quite capture the sense of amazement you’ll feel on opening the door and realizing you hit the jackpot of vacation rentals: soaring ceilings, sunlight, views from every window, truly beautiful artwork, and the most unique collection of lamps – something I’ve never seen in a vacation rental and truly works of art on their own. We spent a lot of time looking at the collection of beautiful things that make this home seem like a featured property in Sunset Magazine. Excellent linens, an abundance of comfortable pillows, plentiful cookware and utensils, and a cool Montana breeze that is best felt with doors and windows open in the early evening, as the sun sets above the distant mountains. Andy is a gracious and communicative host who answered our questions and gave some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. Nearby Ennis Lake is a lovely place to while away the afternoon heat, with a sandy beach, picnic tables and a few shade trees (it’s a BLM-managed property, so no requirement for a Montana Conservation License to enjoy). Madison Foods grocery store is comparable to a midsize urban market. Deemo’s Meats, right next door has an excellent selection of prime beef and homemade jerky (splurge on the ribeye steaks – you won’t be disappointed). Home and host have earned the excellent reviews. Book immediately and with confidence that you'll have a memorable time in Ennis, MT.

I loved this beautiful cabin and the property that surrounds it! I knew the area would be beautiful but it exceeded my expectations! The host was so friendly and checked in several times on text to see how we we enjoying the house. Such a great experience and I am talking with family and friends that want to rent it next year. I would highly recommend this house! ❤️

The amount of space is amazing or if you have kids...
The amount of space is amazing or if you have kids the entire bunk room is made foe them. We just had two of us here for work and it was great with two separate sleeping spaces (3 if you include the bunk basement) Firepit views were aamzong and garage for a jeep rental with the top off. Plus the hosts were super responsive

We spent a family vacation here with our 4 young kids. Ages 6, 4, 2, and 6 months. The home has tons of space inside to play and so much outdoor space to roam. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The scenery is just gorgeous. Andy was a very responsive and kind host to us. We would love to come back!!

I recently had a work project in Ennis and found this great property for a couple of us to stay at. Layout of the place is amazing, great views and fantastic place for large groups and families. Property owner was great to message with and I wait to come back again! Montana is amazing.

It was perfect in every way. Conversation with Andy (owner) was easy. His response was very quick. We went there to spend xmas with our daughter who lives in Ennis. We had christmas on christmas eve with her and husband. The house was clean and very comfy! Andy and his son came to the property, he showed me his train car he will be restoring. My Dad had a Kaboose in the yard, we had something in common. We looked at several locations to spend xmas in Montana, could not be happier with the entire process. Extremely happy with our decision to stay at this property. if there was a negative, it was the drive from Pittsburg New Hampshire to Ennis Montana. That was our choice!! Would definitely contact Andy to stay again, no doubt probably will in the future.

This was a lovely place to stay where we got to see lots of wildlife around! Antelope galore and moose sightings by Ennis Lake! Our 4 legged partner in crime loved the property and being able to play fetch in the yard everyday! He also loved watching the horses across the street from the front door! Andy was super responsive before booking, after booking and upon arriving. Quickly answered questions and was available for anything we needed! The only ”downfall” to this place is there is no privacy between the master bedroom and the door to go downstairs or to the main bathroom. If your staying with a group of close friends or family like we were this won’t be a big problem! The location is super convenient to be far enough away from a lot of activities if you crave quietness but is a short ride away from in town where there are lots of good places to eat and explore.
