Our guest house was built in 1998. It is immaculately clean and inviting. It includes a living/dining area, a full kitchen, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a loft with two twin beds, and a nice bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and linens and towels are provided. For your convenience, the guest house is also equipped with free local phone service, and satellite TV. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use, as well as a wireless hotspot for guests traveling with laptops.

Our new riverside patio offers beautiful views of the river and the Absaroka Mountains, a fire pit for cool Montana evenings, and a gas grill for your convenience.

The Yellowstone River forms the eastern boundary to our property, and is just a two-minute walk from the guesthouse. From there, you can easily launch your canoe or small boat.

About the neighbourhood
Tom Miner Basin borders Yellowstone National Park without the access roads and busses of tourists. The Smith Family Ranch is at the bottom of said basin, right on the Yellowstone River. Phenomenal fly fishing is 10 steps from the door. We live on a working horse ranch- there is always someone around.

Tom Miner Basin Road is a 10 mile dirt road that leads from the Smith Family Ranch to the Tom Miner Creek Campground (trailhead for Ramshorn Peak and Petrified Forest). It's easy to view grizzly bears, mountain goats, big horn sheep, moose, deer, elk, wolves, and more.
