About the neighbourhood
The Coach House is set in the beautiful conservation zone of Nonington in the beautiful county of Kent, home to the North Downs way, perfect walking, biking and hiking country as well as golf and sea fishing. There is a tremendous amount to do around here, with the coast so close, with its fabulous beaches, and the historic City of Canterbury only a fifteen minute drive. Should you wish to stay closer to home, go through the gate at the bottom of the garden, and you will find a footpath leading onto the meadow and beyond and wonderful walks. And while out for a walk why not try our friendly local pub the Griffin's Head for great home cooked food and a fantastic and varied wine list, or venture further afield....most of the local picturesque

Railway: Snowdown: 1.5 km
Ferry: Dover: 15.0 km
We are located a short distance off the A2 about 6 miles after Canterbury heading south towards Dover. You will see a green metal semi circular bridge on the A2, and our turning is the first one on the left after that. The turning is marked to Folkestone, Adisham, Aylesham and Wingham. You will then see signs to Nonington. Come off A2. At roundabout take 1st exit B2046 for Aylesham, then shortly afterwards a right turn to Nonington. Follow a country road to the village. When you come to a T- junction with a field in front of you, turn left and keep on road going past Snowdown railway. Keep going straight into Nonington until you reach the mini roundabout. Bear right on Easole Street and we are 200 m on left hand side at junction with Mill Lane. When you get to the junction look to you... more
