Great house, great location, excellent hospitality...
Great house, great location, excellent hospitality! Would definitely choose this house again. They thought of every detail, and made it so easy! Simple checkout process, no long list of chores at the end of our stay, and they provided coffee pods, a few bottles of water and extra bathroom items in case we forgot something!

Steve’s cottage was amazing for my husband and I and our two teenage girls. He provided snacks and coffee, and even some water bottles. We were able to spend a day with friends on Mullet Lake, and it was a short drive to the catch the ferry to visit Mackinac Island. The beach was a short walk away, and he had chairs and towels for your convenience. Everyday we walked around the neighborhood to marvel at the beautiful flowers and even met people fishing on the dock. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Steve!

My husband and I come to Indian River often as his family has had property here for decades. We love it so much up here that when we got engaged, we could only imagine having our wedding here! We wanted a place of our own over the weekend and it was the perfect location for us. It’s right by town, so you can walk to everything from ice cream at Drost’s or Dairy Mart to breakfast at Christopher’s Cafe to Northland Brewery for yummy beers! The home was clean when we arrived and was fully stocked with anything we needed. I texted Steve that I couldn’t find an iron and 5 minutes later it’s at the doorstep! We also arrived to the sweetest card congratulating us on our marriage, which was such a sweet personal touch. Steve, thank you for opening up your beautiful home for my husband and I to enjoy our wedding weekend, we will forever cherish the memories we had there!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay very much, the house is very nice and cozy. Close distance to many interesting places in the area. The host was easy to reach and communicate with. Would definitely stay there again.
