I grew up going to Cape Cod every summer and we would spend most of our days on Ballston Beach. This house was in the backdrop of so many of my childhood pictures. When I saw this home listed on VRBO we just had to rent it. My husband, our four teenage kids, and my mother all got to stay here. I knew the location would be amazing, but the house was bigger and more breath taking than the pictures can depict. We had so many different areas where we could hang out together or separately and still all be surrounded by an outstanding view out every window. We cooked several meals at the house and it was very convenient to do so with the house being well supplied with cookware. Having a big group at the house it was so convenient to have three full bathrooms. There were beach chairs available at the house for our whole crew. That was such a help! It is a rare thing to be able to stay on the Atlantic side of The Cape and just walk down to the beach anytime. I would go down several times a day to enjoy the beautiful changes in light when taking pictures. I cannot thank Chris and Jen enough for making this home available. It was an experience my family will never forget! Cannot wait to return in the future.

You can't get any closer to the Atlantic than this. A stunning property, easy to live in, views are out of this world. We will definitely stay again.

Spectacular
Quintessentially cape . . . Everything about this Ballston Beach property is perfection. The site is just as spectacular as the pictures suggest. And the house itself is a dream -- a blend of 120-year charm (original beadboard, vintage soapstone) and modern luxury (SubZero and Thermador appliances, a/c, comfortable beds). Our family enjoyed the easy beach access, the well-stocked kitchen -- and the truly great vibe.

Breathtaking
We are frequent VRBO guests and always stay at properties with many previous 5 star reviews. When we booked this property, it had no reviews and I had concerns. This is the first review and with it comes the knowledge that it is helpful for others.
Selfishly, I would rather not write this review, so the house would be more readily available in the future. But, my respect for the VRBO network compels me to write on...
Beyond a doubt, the location is unparalleled! The house has been wonderfully updated to include the comfortable conveniences of today and the romantic reminders of the past.
The house setting is even more settled in its location than the pictures convey, as it has now been fully landscaped.
The listing and pictures are accurate, but note that the bedrooms do not have AC. An upstairs AC unit in the central hallway helps cool the second floor bedrooms along with some ceiling fans. Even with the temperature in the 90's last week, we slept comfortably.
There was not much need to communicate with the owner, but when I did he was warm and hospitable.
We experienced many magical moments at this exceptional beach house...
