A lovely spot on the outskirts of Almodôvar, looking out over the town. Quiet, except for the many birds and the evening dog barking which you seem to get all over Portugal.
The house has all the expected facilities, including wifi, a barbecue, and several bikes. It also has a pleasant swimming pool, plenty warm enough to be used in mid-April which is when we visited.
Very helpful owners with good English, who always answered queries in detail within 24 hours while we were deciding whether to book.
We can highly recommend the Almodôvar Cafe / Restaurant, which is fortunately the nearest place to the house to eat - a ten minute walk, or three minutes by car. Friendly service, the cooking is good and the portions are enormous - many single dishes are more than enough for two people sharing.
