Holiday Rental House -
3 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 8
Piney Point, Maryland
Fully renovated cottage with immaculate interior and view from the most rooms of the Potomac River. We are not located on the river, but across the street on a very quiet road. A water access easement runs from our door step to the Potomac River bulkhead: night lights of Virginia, spectacular sunset views, and abundance of wildlife.

Two of the three bedrooms are outfitted with comfortable queen-size beds, the third is set up as a den with fireplace and reclining sofa (double); the queen sofa in the living room is very comfortable.

The central heat, two fireplaces (electric and oil) keep you toasty inside during the winter, while the fire pit outside compliments the view.

Smart TVs, cable, Netflix, Wi-Fi, docking stations, as well as linens are here along with and any other items you might expect in a well equipped home, including bi...

About the neighbourhood
Tall Timbers is a forested historic waterfront community and will take you back to a different era. Walk or ride your bike down the road fronting the river, we rarely see cars go by. The views across the Potomac River to Virginia (3 miles distant) are spectacular. The people are friendly and all the kids are above average. We are on the National Potomac Water Trail.

Cars, boats, bikes. Sorry no public transportation in the area.

We enjoy the drive down route 4 to Solomon's Island and then over the sky high Johnson Bridge to watch the boats in the Patuxent River.

Equally as fast, the route down Route 5 is usually recommend by navigation systems. The route offers the opportunity to pass through Amish Country, and visit the market in the parking lot of the Mechanicsville Public Library. Antique Barns in Hughsville and a host of garden stands.
