With 3 full baths, there is no wait to shower before evening activities. Bring your whole family and even a couple of friends, and stay in comfort in this 1,600+ square foot home. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a large dinner table for the entire family to eat together.

    “Fishermen and boaters would enjoy this place.”

    The place is large (3 bedrooms, 3 baths) and fronts on the lake after a steep climb down the hill. It is showing its age for the rental price paid, but plenty of hot water and the air conditioning worked (but cold in the lowest level, warm in the loft). The dock is great for boaters but not so good for small children--not really a beach and stony bottom with quite a drop off. We took the kids to the state park for swimming. Had a lot of confusion dealing with Lakewood people and the owner on which unit we actually rented but they were responsive to our calls. I would recommend to single boating friends but not to friends with young children.

    What a beautiful place! We were so impressed with the amount of
    >space, the location, and everything provided inside the unit. The location to
    everything was superb - it looks directly onto the beautiful lake, with the ski slopes rising in the background. Wow! It is also centrally located near WISP, the town of Oakland, grocery and other stores, as well as nearby state parks (we went to Swallow
    Falls St Pk to XC ski, for example)
    I can only imagine how pretty it'd be in the summer ! The wifi and cable TV worked fine for the kids, too - and the unit even included some puzzles to keep them busy!
    All in all it was a wonderful place for us to get away. Plenty of space with 3 BRs ! The kitchen had everything you could image needing (even wine glasses!) and the beds were very comfortable. Oh - and the skiing at WISP was great, too!
