The accomodations, property, location and amenities were near perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more. That said, parking was a major pain. I didn't so much care that I had to pay for parking but it turned over at midnight. You can park overnight on the street for free. I either had to be up at midnight to pay for the...

Historic, by definition, means old. The results of low quality updates are not caused by renters. To use the deposit for overdue repairs, just deem the deposit as non-refundable. Have the supply cabinets locked, rather than telling renters they must have gained entry on their own.
