Some of our favorite things to do are: Bonfires at the beach after sunset, scalloping in the bay, kayaking, Indian Pass Raw Bar to enjoy oysters, crab legs & steam shrimp as well as great local music and company, a day poking around the stores (and eating) in Apalachicola among many other things!

Perfect. Condo is open & comfortable. The amazing deck allows you to be as close to the ocean as one can be. It was great for dogs who loved being out there. Beds comfortable. Beautifully decorated.

Super Clean which is important to me.
I hate to write a great review because more people will want to book this place and make it harder for me to book my next trip back. I did not want to leave. Every detail was thought of. All you need is a change of clothes and a bathing suit. And so very very clean.

Great stay
My husband and I stayed in barrier dunes and loved it! There was no one on the beach I'm guessing because it was the off season. The locals were very nice and we went to a couple different restaurants in port st. Joe. But we loved the sand bucket! We are from St. Louis and we know bbq but this was some of the best bbq we have ever had! We will be returning next year!

SO IN LOVE
This was our first vacation, ever!! My husband and I took both of our dogs to Cape San Blas. We fell in love as soon as we stepped on the beach! Admittedly, we didn't do much, but sit on the beach and walk the beach with our pups. What more do you need? Our condo was so well equipped, the beach is amazing and our dogs are still having tail wagging dreams. We can't wait to come back. We have told everyone we know!!

Beautiful pet friendly spot!
Drove from NOLA with my youngest daughter and her 9 month old boxer puppy. It was his first time at the beach and getting in the salty water. We splashed and laughed to see him having such fun! Went for several walks on this very white sand beach running into a large jelly fish! The sunsets were amazing and the ice cream place within walking distance was a treat! Number 91 is a quick walk to the beach and found it very comfortable and very well supplied. Feeding the turtles in the pond below was such a treat! This was our second time at the Cape and we're sure to go back.

Just what the doctor ordered
Nicely furnished, well stocked condo, with easy access to the beach. Comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, kitchen, and laundry supplies that you won't have to travel with! Home away from home!

Well Stocked & Decorated Rental - Beautiful Beach
We stayed in Barrier Dunes 177 - Waters Edge. It was just a few steps to the beach and the beahc front pool. It had everything we could image provided. We definitely over packed....it was like a home away from home and very relaxing!
The beach was beautiful. White sand, no crowded and our dogs had a fabulous time. The beach is pristine! We saw wonderful sunsets every night, had a bonfire on the beach and just relaxed. The beach front pool was awesome.
Wendy was great to work with...answered all of our many questions promptly and everything exceeded our expectations!
We will be regulars at this beach since it's just 6 hrs from Atlanta! Thank you for everything!

Ehlingers paradise 2012
The townhome was wonderful. The walk to the beach was just around the corner and very well kept up beach. It is very pet friendly and amazing how everyone picks up and keeps the area clean. Its paradise and fun for all ages. My family wants to make Cape San Blas a tradition for every year.

Cape San Blas, FL is 20 miles long & a mile wide at the widest point! St. Joseph Bay is on 1 side & the Gulf of Mexico is on the other. 10 of the 20 miles consists of St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Your dog is welcome on the beach with NO TIME RESTRICTIONS! Recently ranked the #1 beach in the USA by Dr. Stephen Leatherman & regularly ranked the best DOG-FRIENDLY BEACH in the US!
The beauty is that Cape San Blas is still uncrowded, non-commercialized & pristine! No commercialism & no highrise condos & 50% of the Cape being state park afford for long walks on unspoiled white sand beaches with no wild crowds!
Barrier Dunes is a secure, gated community with 2 fantastic pools. 1 is located directly on the dunes with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico & the white sand beaches of Cape Sand Blas. Barrier Dunes also has lighted tennis courts, boat washing area, 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground, boardwalks throughout & pet stations & green space throughout!
St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is located right next door to Barrier Dunes and offers excellent access to the bay as well as 7 miles of undeveloped, unpaved pristine wilderness area, bay access, & beach. The park also has a boat ramp! The clear water bay is one of the cleanest in Florida & provides excellent snorkeling, boating, fishing, crabbing & scalloping.
