Nirvana Farm Stay is situated on a 30 acre family owned lifestyle property just a stone’s throw from the Clevedon Village. Offpeak it’s less than 30 minutes from Auckland International Airport and 45 minutes from the CBD.
The much admired property has expansive lawns and gardens for visitors to enjoy. Please note we provide tea coffee and milk and some toast bread and spreads for a light breakfast. Seasonal fruit from our orchard is also offered.

Fabulous - couldn't ask for more!
From the stunning location, the thoughtful quality accomodation and the huge friendly Kiwi welcome, Nirvana Farm truly is the perfect 10!
With our original travel plans interrupted by the rude appearance of Cyclone Gita, we've had the unexpected pleasure of staying 2 nights at Nirvana Farm, with the opportunity to get to know Mon, our very welcoming host.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, close to Clevedon village and within easy reach of all that Auckland has to offer, our unexpected change of plan has turned out to be an extremely pleasant addition to our itinerary!

Fabulous, peaceful farmstay
Beautiful property situated near the rural village of Clevedon. Spacious two bedroom apartment with beautiful outlook. Perfect for a rural retreat handy to Auckland and airport.Monica was a fantastic host.

Delightful Farm Stay
Our stay was delightful. The accommodations were superb and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the views from my bedroom window each morning.
I would return again and recommend to my friends and family.
Monica was a friendly host and kept in communication as much as needed. She was thoughtful in leaving grocery items to get us through the first couple days of our stay.

Completely charming!
Clevedon is off the beaten tourist path but within easy reach of Aukland and the west coast. Monica, our host, was fantastic! She provided food essentials (enough to get us through our first breakfast), super comfortable beds/linens, plenty of fluffy towels and lovely toiletries. We took her advice on local eating and enjoyed really tasty fish and chips! Monica also pointed us towards a gorgeous black sand beach that was an easy drive. This was our first port of call in New Zealand and it was a treat. A definite 5+ stars!!

Rural idyll
We were blessed with good fortune to stay at Nirvana Farm during the Coronavirus lockdown. Monica was a charming and supportive hostess. The horses, ducks and wider birdlife made us feel we were in a place of great peace. Nearby we walked in the Clevedon Scenic Reserve, with fabulous 360 degree views at its Look Out top, and a wealth of lovely tree varieties including Kauri to provide shade as we walked. The local coastline is fine. All in all a memorable success.

Lovely accomodation great location and views. Stairs could be an issue for people with disabilities. Otherwise very user friendly.

Disappointing - not recommended
The host didn't show us to the apartment that is up a very tight staircase above the tac rooms for the horses that are directly opposite, this wasn't in the description (it was noisy when people there at 6am!!) The car parking is bad when it rains, to the point that you cannot enter the apartment due to surface flooding. There was no breakfast supplied, only a small UHT milk for 3 people over 2 nights!! The towels were old and some stained as were the sheets on one of the beds. Host was not welcoming, didn't show us to the apartment gave directions from her front door as she was 'eating lunch' - never checked on us again! The apartment needs a bit of a refresh, not as clean as it could be, very overpriced for what it is.

About the neighbourhood
Clevedon is well known for equestrian pursuits. It’s the home of the NZ Polo Open and also to many well known NZ 3 day event and dressage riders and show jumpers. Lots of great parks and beaches close by if you’re keen on experiencing the great Kiwi outdoors.
