The HEART of Julian - This charming two story home was built in 1987 but it resides within an old Mining Community that dates back to the 1700's. This home boasts over 2,000 sq ft of space for your groups leisurely enjoyment. My home is located two block from historic downtown Julian. You can walk to MOM's pie shop and long the way stop off at one of the winery's for a little taste of your favorite wine. Restaurants, shops, spa, gym and museum are all located on the main street. The famous Gold Mine whose tunnel goes through the entire mountain is one block up the same road as my home. Lake Cuyamaca is 6 miles of travel South on highway 79 which boasts a little restaurant, fishing from a yearly stocked lake, and boating. If you travel 7 miles West on the 79 you will be in Santa Ysabella which has the famous Dudley's Bakery with a wide variety of delicious bread and OMG Sandwiches. The décor of my home is country boutique with luxury in mind. WIFI ready with televisions in each room. There are two fire places one on each floor. The 2nd floor has three bedrooms with Queen size beds and one bath. The balcony has an outdoor living space to hang out with couches and lounge chairs that captures the views of the surrounding trees and pines for a very cozy atmosphere. There is a private front courtyard, and a backyard that includes a barbecue grill and seating for six under a shady umbrella. The 1st floor has a reading room, Master Bedroom, Queen Size bed with its own bathroom and walk-in closet with french doors that step out into the backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped for the chef's in your group. We provide complimentary coffee and hot chocolate you provide the food you wish to prepare. I love my home and I know you will too.More

About the neighbourhood
Julian is a late 1800s gold-mining town known for its spring wildflowers and autumn apple harvest. Orchards cover the surrounding land, and fall festivals celebrate the harvests. Walking distance on C Street from my home is downtown Julian's Main Street which offers; shopping, antiquing, restaurants, gym and spa. Should you head in the other direction on C Street you will walk to Eagle's Gold Mine. One block over on B Street is Blue Door Winery and along the way is the Old Town Well and Wild Bill's Restaurant. The Shopping downtown offer unique shopping, things you will not normally find in mainstream stores. Apparel, home décor, jewelry and even a knife collection store. Approximately two minutes by car is a new brewery call Nickel B
Getting around
There is no public transportation. Most amenities are within walking distance. I do recommend a car to go to the lake, local wineries, hard cider tasting and horse back riding.
