Mortimer House is a Georgian town house in the centre of Crickhowell. The house comprises 3 completely independent apartments. There is a main entrance in to the property and then each apartment has its own private entrance.

No. 1 Mortimer House has recently been awarded the top 5* rating by the Welsh Tourist Board and can accommodate up to 5 guests plus a baby and occupies the ground floor. Two large bedrooms comprising a king size bedroom, and a second bedroom that can be made up as a super-king or twin, when made up as a twin a third 'hotel' bed for an extra child or small adult can be added on request.

The town of Crickhowell lies along the banks of the River Usk and is in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park; it is often referred to as ‘the glittering jewel of the vale’ and these days is a vibrant town with small, friendly, individual family owned shops providing not only daily essentials but interesting shops for browsing, often displaying work produced by local artisans. Just a short stroll around the town and you will see that Crickhowell has many excellent places to eat out or just have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
