About the neighbourhood
The Dovecote is situated at Cilgelynen a mile outside the small village of Llanychaer near Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. The idyllic position of the cottage along with its proximity to the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park and the Preseli Hills makes it a perfect choice for couples that enjoy the great outdoors. Although the Dovecote is quiet and secluded it is easily accessible by main road from the M4 / A40, by rail (stations in Fishguard and Haverfordwest) and by ferry from Ireland!
Getting around
While you really need a car to get around this part of the world, there is an excellent bus service that runs the length of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park. These buses (including the Poppet Rocket, Strumble Shuttle and Celtic Coaster) provide a great way to do one-way walks along the coast. Full details are available in the cottage.
