About the neighbourhood
Nerja!! The jewel of the Costa del Sol. Probably the best climate in Europe!!

Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people's houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops and tapas bars & restaurants.

While Nerja bears no resemblance to the 'high-rise' holiday developments often associated with the Costa del Sol, it is a popular destination for North European and Spanish tourists and offers all the necessary ingredients for a fantastic holiday - goo...
