Situated on a half acre site of matured gardens the property is less than 1 mile from the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford.
The property boasts beautiful views of Carlingford Lough, Slieve Foy and the Mourne Mountains.
This large dormer style bungalow boasts 6 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen/living area and a separate sitting room.
The upstairs area has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with an electric shower.
Bedroom 1"The Penthouse" has 2 double beds, a 3 seater recliner couch and a 55 ins flat screen TV with surround sound system. It also has a walk out patio area which overlooks views of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains.
Bedroom 2 is a double room with ample storage space.

Beautiful place

Perfect house and location for a group
We had a very relaxed and enjoyable time at Catherine’s Grove. The house had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable. Host is lovely. Great location just outside the town. Thanks! We would highly recommend!!

Weekend Getaway Celebration
This house was absolutely beautiful, it was spacious and comfortable and perfect for celebration our daughters birthday, it’s perfect for a family gathering and a stunning place to spend quality time together. Beautiful views all around the house, beautiful greenery all over ,views of the mountains and the sea can be seen from the upstairs balconies which had seats and tables perfect for a breather. The bathrooms were almost fully stacked and the rooms were spacious and comfortable . There’s an entire beauty corner that everyone loved- full of products too. The only things I would comment on is if you’re planning to have a larger group ,the kitchen was under equipped and smaller than expected so know to bring some of your own plates and platters if needed. Lastly the host,Marie, was nothing but lovely and approachable , would recommend and would book again . Thank you for having us Marie.

Carlingford '22
5 Mammies and 11 children had a fantastic few days in this lovely, warm spacious house.
There was loads of room for us all both in and out side.
The house was clean,very comfortable and exceptionally well stocked.
The mattresses are particularly comfy!
It was an easy stroll into town where we enjoyed pier jumping and a few delicious meals.
Finn put on a great show for us in Greenore!
Loads to do and see in this beautiful spot.
We'll definitely be back to stay in this gorgeous home away from home.

Catherine’s grove stay for birthday party.
We had the most amazing weekend celebrating our dad’s 60th birthday. The property had everything we needed for our stay. Marie was so helpful and came over on the Saturday to check we had everything we needed.
It was a little tricky to find initially as the coordinates where not set at the address.
Thank you so much for your help during our stay Marie.
We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing
I can’t fault our stay . The house was amazing with everything supplied . Plenty of rooms for a large family and Marie the owner was happy to help with anything we needed . Only 5 mins for Carlingford town

Fab family holiday house
Just back from a wonderful stay at Catherine's Grove. This was our second time this summer, it's such a great holiday house for a group of family or friends. Marie is a lovely host meeting us both times on arrival and showing us round. The house has plenty of everything and the large but cosy kitchen is perfect for family and friend groups. The kids had a great time playing in the huge back garden and tyre swing in the front garden. It's so peaceful, the views are amazing and you can walk easily into the centre of Carlingford.
We'll definitely be going again.

Lovely house in Carlingford
The house is lovely for a large family or small group. It's near the village but yet very peaceful and quiet. Marie was a great host meeting us on arrival and showing us everything.

Perfect for large Family Groups!
15 of us (10 adults & 5 kids) stayed the Weekend in Catherine’s Grove and loved it!
Lots of room for everyone with Lounge Room, and kitchen area! Kids loved rambling around the extensive gardens and tyre-swing! And only a short walk to Carlingford village for great sea-food, antique store and boutiques! We’ll definately be back!
