We stayed here over Xmas whilst doing turtle conservation for the Corcovado Foundation. Having no idea what to expect as it's quite remote we found it to have everything we needed. A big kitchen, plenty of hammocks to relax in and spot Toucan's and McCaws from. It's own path to a spot in a river to swim in within a minute walk, big garden area with volleyball court, huge kitchen with 2 cooking areas and WiFi and two very friendly dogs
We arrived to Drake Bay by boat and thought we'd need to get a bus to the hostel as it's quite a way from Drake Bay itself, (actually in a small town called El Progreso) but within 5 minutes of having arrived a car came along to pick us up. They provide transport shuttle service to and from the Drake Bay itself on a daily basis as that's where you need to go to take any tours. There are only a couple of Soda restaurants nearby with limited food options so it's recommended to bring some with you, although there are 2 local shops a 5 minute walk from...
