Impeccable hill top views and wonderful host!
I had the pleasure of staying a Saru Holiday Home during the holy festival of Esara Perahera (August 2018)
The accommodation was truly superb; light, bright, very clean and boasts spectacular views of the Kandy area from two different balconies. The two rooms were incredibly comfortable and the split area kitchen offered modern day conveniences.
The host was truly wonderful, Mr. Rumaiz was a warm and amazing host and assisted in organising anything we needed; taxis, tuk-tuks and provided tasty homemade snacks.
If I ever visit Kandy again I will be sure to stay here.
Highly, Highly, Recommended.

Perfect apartment in Kandy!
A really fantastic place to stay in Kandy. This apartment is even better than it looks in the pictures - six of us stayed in the apartment over the Perahera festival season, and it still felt spacious. Both balconies have great views, the amenities were fantastic, and good working aircon in both bedrooms. Kitchen and large fridge was good to cook our own meals. Talk about value for money! I highly recommend staying here - it has been a favourite on my trip so far - an oasis just a few minutes from the craziness of festival season in the city centre. All tuk-tuk drivers we hailed knew the location/rd which was amazing. Rumaiz and his family were incredible hosts and are genuinely lovely people and could not have been more accomodating - offering lots of local tips and advice, and when our cab to leave Kandy fell through at 10 minutes notice, Rumaiz organised another one for us (certainly not easy at festival time!) Thank you so much, Rumaiz!

Beautiful clean apartment with breathtaking views
SaRu Holiday Home is a beautifully maintained holiday home; with every tiny detail taken care of. Facilities from ironing boards to a fully equipped kitchen were available at our disposal. It is a 3 storey property with the top storey for guests. Spacious 2 bedrooms, massive living room with dining area and lovely balconies that overlook breathtaking views of the mountains in Kandy. Rumaiz (the property owner) is a true gentleman and ensured our stay was comfortable by helping us with booking tuktuks and by giving tips on various site seeing places in Kandy. All in all a great stay and highly recommended for tourists that enjoy relaxing trips

Spacious Family Apartment
We had a 1 night stay in this 2 bedroom apartment. It was spacious and had all the facilities you would expect in a self-contained apartment. It is far from town so best to bring food to cook, get takeaway or order delivery (a delivery menu is provided in the apartment). Great apartment for families.
