Our small family farm is located in the village Buguldeyka, north east from Irkutsk, 60 km from Olkhon Island. It's a small typical Siberian settlement surrounded by mountains and Lake Baikal. The tourism here is not developed yet, so there is a good opportunity to experience authentic atmosphere of the village. Apart of accommodation we offer our home-made organic food; shuttle service from Irkutsk with our military soviet van; day and multi-days excursions around the region; car rental. ...Our small family farm is located in the village Buguldeyka, north east from Irkutsk, 60 km from Olkhon Island. On the shore of Baikal Lake, the farm hosts are the nicest people ever. We got to know their customs, traditions and way of life. The frozen lake is undoubtedly one of the greatest natural wonders on Earth. This experience is a MUST.

About the neighbourhood
The settlement on the left coast of Buguldeyka River was founded, presumably, in the 17th century as a Buryat ulus. In the Soviet period, a forestry enterprise was based in the village, carrying out rafting of the forest along the Buguldeyka River, and supplied timber through Baikal to the Baikal forestry base in Vydrino. Nowadays there is no industry here anymore, the nature around the village is just marvellous. The mountains and the Baikal Lake itself, clear fresh air and beautiful river, just a drit road, far away from any other settlement, makes this place unique. Buguldeyka village is still tourist undiscovered place, without tourists-bases, camps or hostels. There is no bars and restaurants, just locals and their lifestyle.
Getting around
From here you can easily take a mini-bus to Irkutsk or to the Olkhon Island.
