This villa consists of four cottages, the first cottage is considered as the master bedroom and the media that can also be converted as extra bedroom. The master and the media room are very spacious, total media can accommodate two till four people and the master can also accommodate up to two people, it has a working desk, sofa and a balcony overlooking the view of the jungle and the valley. Close to this cottage is the open living area attached to the dining and kitchen area as well. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with microwave, oven, stove, toaster, coffee maker and all the utensils. Un séjour exceptionnel! Un lieu magnifique surplombant la forêt balinaise où la plénitude et la bienveillance règnent. Un immense merci à Made et à son équipe pour leur grande gentillesse et leur professionnalisme! Made nous a permis de passer un séjour inoubliable à tous points de vue. Les plats préparés chaque jour étaient succulents. Nous avons pu découvrir la culture balinaise et les beautés de Bali grâce à Itra excellent guide francophone que Made avait réservé pour notre famille. Une expérience formidable!

Secluded villa overlooking pristine forest
Our second trip in 12 years and it’s a wonderful to be back with Bpk Made and staff. The serenity of the location is unmatched, the view over the infinity edge to untouched forests over the valley is beautiful. We love that we can give Made a list of thing we love to eat and he’ll surprise each dinner with delicious Indonesian dishes.

Perfection in such an idyllic location
This is our second trip to Villa Bodhi in Ubud, the last time was 12 years ago. The setting is just as stunning as we remember and the staff so helpful and kind.
This year was a family reunion with some travelling from Sweden and others from Australia.
I cannot recommend Villa Bodhi enough to people wanting a very special experience with family or friends. 🌸🌴🙏

Bliss in Bodhi
From the moment we arrived in Denpasar where we were met by Made the Vila's manager we knew we were in for a very special time. We were a group of extended family so the accommodation including four separate buildings each with a private bathroom was perfect. We loved the infinity pool with its backdrop of a lush green valley giving way to mountains in the distance. The common area provided 4 poolside sun beds and countless daybeds under the pavilion. At night be prepared to be serenaded by heaps of frogs and geckos living in the many beautiful ponds. The villa is about 30 min out of Ubud in beautiful countryside. Made was always available to take us on our daily adventures. We did a 6km walk through the rice paddies starting in Ubud, visited the monkey forest, visited Bali's most important temple in Kintamani, swam in thermal pools and walked down the 174 steps to the 900 year old Royal monuments (Gunung Kwai) where ancient carvings in the rock tower 8 metres high. We ate so well at the villa and Gusti the chef was great accomodating for our vegan and vegetarians as well as the omnivores. Great breakfasts (included). We became addicted to the sticky black rice and coconut in the morning. Tropical fruit platters were great. (Papaya, dragon fruit, pineapple, mango and mangosteen). Lunches and dinners were fantastic Chicken with Lemongrass, stir fry pork, Nasi Goreng, curries, tofu, tempe. Made also suggested and drove us to some great places to eat in Ubud. We Couldn't believe how reasonably priced everything was. It was hard to leave this magical place. Paradise in Bali! Do yourself a favour and book here for your next holiday

Heaven, so so hard to leave
Villa Bodhi is magnificent. Owned by Fashion designer Amos Kotomori the decor and beautiful art works and artefacts spread throughout the villa add to the feeling of luxury. Everywhere you look your eye is drawn to something else beautiful. The villa is centred around an open Javanese style pavilion where there are numerous comfortable daybeds, lounges and an adjoining dining area. Surrounding the central pavilion are 4 separate cottages, each has it's own unique feel and stunning bathroom. The infinite edge pool looks over the ravine and jungle and is a fantastic spot to sit in the morning or afternoon.
Made, the house manager was amazing nothing was too much trouble-from explaining the local customs and culture, organising day trips and an extra driver for our teenage boys and catering to us changing our minds about what we wanted to do. Made's assistance was the icing on the cake to our stay at Villa Bodhi. Wayan cooked us wonderful meals every night we decided to stay in and was always ready with breakfast when we wanted it in the mornings. The staff at Villa Bodhi are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always smiling and ready to help with any request.
If you have a large family, 2 small families or a group of friends this is a great place to stay. The Villa also caters for weddings and I think this would be a great setting for that special day. I would highly recommend Villa Bodhi for a relaxing get away. The management company Red Lotus Properties was helpful throughout the booking process with suppling information and answering our questions prior to arrival.
One thing to take into consideration-Villa Bodhi is approximately 30 minutes to Ubud by car and the roads aren't great but Made will drive you into Ubud any time you request so this was not a problem.
Can't wait to go back.

You can arrange with the house manager to visit Ubud, visiting the traditional market for arts and crafts, visiting the palace of Ubud for some art performances like dancing and others, visiting Ubud for some museums and galleries or shopping around and having culinary tour around Ubud visiting some restaurants with very good food. In addition, if you really like nature, there are also other nature related activities you can do such as trekking, ATV, and other activities
How to get there
It takes less than 2 hours to reach the villa from the airport. The driver will take the route going through the toll roads and bypass to avoid the traffic then you will go through the village roads leading directly to Ubud, passing several villages with the view of jungle and rice paddy fields then you will arrive at this beautifully amazing villa.
