This was a lovely house and the night sky from it is incredible. The reason for 4 stars is that it's down a dirt road, and the second bedroom has no door and the walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling so unless you're all going to sleep and waking up at the same time, you'll disturb whoever is in that room.
Another note is because it's a bit off the beaten path, it's helpful to get everything you need before heading in. The nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes away. It has a nice selection but it's tiny.
Access to Ghost ranch for hiking is wonderful.

The house was more than comfortable, had amazing views and grounds, great hikes, convenient location for what we were looking for, and had everything we needed. Host was communicative and helpful. I would stay here again; I recommend this property.

I had a wonderful stay at this VRBO following a family wedding, The house was beautiful, comfortable and artistically done by a local artist who lives on the property. It was immaculate, perfectly stocked and in a magical location.
I highly recommend this listing!

In a beautiful landscape with amazing views, peaceful, the house is very comfortable, decorated with beautiful art and very well equipped. The owner was very nice and welcoming ( delicate touch , flowers in a vase when you come in) she shared with us some interesting stories about her art .

Perfect location for a long getaway or to just unplug for a month or 2. Located off the beaten path, but close enough to the many offerings of Northern New Mexico. A beautiful home with expansive desert views from oversized windows and a patio for leisurely mornings of coffee.
The place is well-appointed and filled with wonderful art, and the host is a wealth of knowledge about things to do in the area.

A clean and comfortable house in a beautiful setting. Enjoyed walking in the arroyo, gorgeous dark night skies, and an easy drive to Ghost Ranch, Ojo Caliente and the little town of Abiquiu.
