Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Excellent apartment in an ideal location
Just back from a week in this lovely apartment. Ana, the owner, met us on arrival and provided us with lots of helpful information. The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos and having the outside space is a real bonus. The apartment is just a couple of minutes walk from the green market and Diocletian's Palace and is ideally situated for Bacvice and the other very pleasant beaches to the east of the town centre, the buses and ferries. It is also less than 30 minutes walk from the Poljud Stadium where Hajduk Split play: well worth £8 for a ticket! We highly recommend the apartment.

Perfect!
We stayed for one week at this lovely apartment, Ana the owner met us outside after we had arrive from the airport via taxi. She was so friendly and kind, giving us lots of information about Split the surrounding area and places to eat. We found wine, water and iced tea in the fridge , fruit and croissants were also left for us. The apartment is just perfect, everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipt, with a large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. It has a very spacious living/dining room with a huge comfortable sofa, and a large flat screen TV. The bathroom is lovely, I noted one of the previous reviewers said there wasn't an over the bath shower, well there is now and it is really good very powerful. The bedroom is lovely too with a huge king size bed with a lovely comfy matress, we both slept really well. There is also a small bathroom on the landing next to the bedroom. The location couldn't be better 5 minutes to the centre of Split and 5 minutes to the beach, the local market is brilliant, lots of lovely fresh produce, clothes and local crafts, it's open every day. We will definitely be back, thank you Ana for a wonderful stay.

Excellent accommodation, very helpful and friendly owner.
The apartment was very clean, very well equipped and comfortable. It was situated close to the bus station and beside the market stalls. It was just a short walk to the centre of Split which had many very interesting sights as well as the famous Diocletians palace. The owner gave us some useful tips as to where to eat and the best tourist attractions. She was very helpful and very pleasant. The apartment had a very comfortable living area with a large sky TV.

The prefect apartment for the prefect holiday.
This was our first time in Croatia and will not be the last. We chose Split for its central location on the Dalmatian Coast and its history and culture. Split also offers easy access to all the beautiful surrounding islands. The apartment is of a very high quality, ideal for young and not so young couples to have a romantic stay. The Bacvice beach is only five or ten minutes walk from the apartment, of which we enjoyed an early morning swim each day of our vacation. The apartment terrace gets all the morning sun, perfect for breakfast after a good swim and ideal for an evening bottle of wine. The market is also only five minutes walk where you will find all the fruit and vegetable you could wish for. Spilt has much to offer, the Diocletian Palace, café’s and restaurants, a good choice of boat tours and evening entertainment for those that want it. Our host Ana is fantastic; she could not have tried harder to make us feel more at home. Ana we thank you sincerely!

Apartment in Split
The apartment was luxurious and our stay was relaxing and stress free. Better still only a short walk to the beach. We spent many an evening with a glass of wine relaxing on the private terrace. Split itself is an amazing place with lots to see and do, not forgetting the shopping. Also lots of islands to visit. I would highly recommend the trip to Mostar in Bosnia. You will never run out of cafes and restaurants to visit particularly in the old town near Diocletianvs Palace which is a maze of narrow streets and squares. Ana was a fantastic host and made our stay a pleasure. We hope to go back.

Lovely apartment
The apartment was very conveniently located, just outside the palace, no more than a minutes walk to the palace and Riva. It is well equipped and comfortable, the only criticism we would make is the lack of a proper shower - there is a shower attachment but no fitting to the wall. Ana the owner was very pleasant and extremely helpful - she even offered to meet is off the bus!
