About the neighbourhood
In past years Zrinyi pedestrian area together with adjoining streets became the gastronomical center of the fifth district offering a range from French cuisine to Mediterranean and Hungarian, Thai, Mexican etc. If you would like to have a nice romantic dinner Cafe Kor is just at the corner. If you prefer a more vibrant atmosphere and international cuisine, Tom George is within your sight. Di Vino fine dining is just below your residence. Cafe Vian with its master chef will fascinate you with delicious harmony of tastes. Just 5 minutes away from the residence there is the famous Market Hall with good selection of fresh food and vegetables also offering interesting gastronomic experience of Hungarian origin.
Getting around
You will be staying at the very epicentre of Budapest, overlooking the Basilica and St. Stephen square, the heart of the city. The most convenient way to approach the residence is by car or taxi. However, if you would like to explore the city on your own, there are plenty of possibilities. Many major sights are right beside your residence. Nearby Deak square is the intersection of 3 metro lines and very easy to reach any destination of your desire. Since this is the main pedestrian area, many cultural institutions, museums and galleries are at walking distance. You need a couple of minutes to reach the House of Parliament, or just 5 minutes to reach banks of Danube with its breathtaking panorama of the Buda royal castle and Mathias church.
