About the neighbourhood
The house is in a quiet beachside suburb. The beach (a five minute walk ) is a beautiful clean, white sand beach with glorious sunsets. The nearby shopping centre has supermarkets, fruit and vegetable market, bakery, newsagent, department store, liquor outlet and cafes and restaurants. It is a ten minute walk to the shops. Alongside the shopping centre is a swimming pool, a library and a fitness centre. Nearby are award winning golf courses, wineries with cellar door tastings, kayaking, boating and fishing. A fast train connects Mandurah and Perth and a free shuttle bus will take you from the station into Mandurah central. In Mandurah you will find plenty of restaurants and the seafood cafes along the Marina are especially good.
It is an easy walk to the local tavern, the beach and the large shopping centre. If you want to venture further afield then a car is necessary.
