Wow, this is my first time in a book-a-Bach, I think I have been spoilt! I have always wanted to stay on Durie Hill, and I wasn’t disappointed. A lovely house, fully furnished and stocked well. The views were great with native Kereru present too. Highly recommend, thank-you so much!

Attractive accommodation - clean, fresh, tidy, tasteful interior, well-presented bedrooms & lounge - in a really impressive location ... relaxing serene atmosphere on the quiet south side of Whanganui River with beautiful forest & hill views ... excellent communication from hosts (who went out of their way to accommodate us) ... only stayed 1 night but would've liked longer to properly enjoy the balcony, birdsong & backyard.

Very tidy and well appointed home. Fantastic location and has everything you need for a trip away. Great outdoor space for the dog and being fully fenced is perfect.
Owner was very welcoming and easy to deal with and communicate with.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house had everything we needed and we were just over the bridge from town. Fully fenced property for the dog, and a sunny deck to sit on and relax. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Whanganui.
