As this is a Bed & Breakfast and our family live in the home, the kitchen, family room, laundry, 1 downstairs bedroom and 3rd (top) floor are our PRIVATE area, unless guests are invited in to join us. There is to be no cooking in the guest accommodation areas; or eating and drinking in the Executive lounge upstairs or bedrooms. We would appreciate no loud parties as this is a working household, with a school aged teenager and also a very quiet neighbourhood.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

What a lovely welcome!
We stayed one night at Tulloch Manor, and had a very warm welcome from Wendy and Barry. The house is gorgeous and they really have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, There were many different seating areas to relax in, including a fantastic deck with a pool, which we made the most of. We had use of a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities plus a water cooler. There were lots of very useful information/leaflets on all the things you can do in Wanganui which was most helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was lovely to have a choice of different pillows. Breakfast was very delicious, we had home made bread which was still warm plus a huge selection of local jams, yoghurts, fruits, cereals and croissants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Wendy and Barry.

My Kiwi reunion
It was October the birth month of my mother. Who had passed a few months before missing her 95 Birthday. My wife and I had a quick visit back to New Zealand for the funeral. Now returned on to visit family and friends for Moms Birth month. As we traveled NZ visiting we came to stay to Wendy & Barry. I remember the warm feeling of welcome we got when we arrived and standing out on the deck looking at the beautiful garden of native trees and ferns. The birds singing a beautiful songs as the wife and had a coffee after a busy day sightseeing. Myself and my wife had a very comfortable stay and can’t wait to return for another visit with Wendy and Barry and there family. I know it will be lovely to sit by the pool and relax and commune with nature and the feeling of being home.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We really love having guests to stay who appreciate the privacy and peace and quiet of our home, nestled amongst native trees. The birdsong is lovely isn't it! You're both more than welcome to return anytime you wish and we'll take you out to the Windermere Strawberry farm for their famous Pancakes for breakfast again. Take care, Wendy
