A lovely Californian bungalow, completely renovated throughout [completed February 2017] turning an ‘old lady’ from the 1920’s into a bright new star in Orange’s dress circle.
A style, elegance and luxury that says 'Come inside and relax... unwind... and pamper yourself.'
Like all homes of this era, she has settled gracefully into old age. She's had a complete facelift, celebrating the lives she’s led, yet not discarding all of the character and idiosyncrasies that make her special.

My husband and daughters stayed in July. The property was very warm,clean and comfortable. The bedding was of the highest quality and I usually dont sleep well away from home, but i had the best sleep. The owners are very organized and easy to message....More

A very comfortable and well-appointed 2 bedroom cottage. The owners have gone beyond expectations with their inclusions and furnishings. The basic groceries to get you started all very helpful. Beds are comfortable as is the heating. Plenty of room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.More

About the neighbourhood
Orange, known as Australia’s Colour City, just 3 ½ hours from Sydney and within easy reach of the Blue Mountains.
When you visit the Orange Region you will discover a welcoming city, rich in local history, a flourishing cultural scene, fruitful landscapes, historical and architecturally significant buildings, art and culture to surprise you and some of the best food and cool climate wines in Australia.
Three major regional activities during each year are FOOD Week [usually mid-April] the Orange Wine Festival [usually early October] and the Australian National Field Days [usually late October] Australia's oldest annual agricultural exhibition.
Getting around
The Sampson – Orange is inside ‘The Square Mile’ that locals regards as the centre of town. Depending on your desire for exercise you can walk to most places around Orange – or alternately drive or catch a cab. The commercial centre of town is really Summer Street and is about 1200m from Peisley Street at one end, to Hill Street at the other.
We have an online Google Map showing some places of interest in and around Orange, in relation to The Sampson – Orange [supermarkets, restaurants, wineries, etc].
Locals will probably defer to the car, but many guests want to take advantage of the opportunity to get some fresh air and take in the trees, architecture, gardens and just enjoy the best that Orange has to offer.

You can reach The Sampson - Orange via the Mitchell Highway in to town, or the Northern Distributor.
Driving through town and travelling north along Summer Street, turn right into Sampson Street on the northern edge of Cook Park.
Proceed across Byng and March Streets.
