Port Melbourne is an inner suburb of Melbourne is one of the best places to stay in because of its holiday vibe and vicinity. Even though it is a busy area it is quiet at night. Port Melbourne has its own beach, plenty of different types of restaurants and hotels, supermarkets, lots of shops and a number of gyms. The Spirit of Tasmania and the luxury cruise ships dock at Station Pier on a daily basis. Numerous golf courses short drive away. Port Melbourne is a diverse and historic area, you wont be disappointed.
Getting around
The CBD is barely 3K away, directly linked via 10 min commute on the light rail, tram 109. A current Myki card can be supplied for convenience you just need to top up at the shop around the corner. 250m (approx) away from beach esplanade and short stroll to boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, gyms, gourmet supermarkets and South Melbourne Market. 5 kilometres of uninterrupted beach esplanade. Outdoor exercise facilities, water sports, jogging, bike tracks. Nearby Station Pier, close to trams, buses. Close proximity to parklands, Southgate shopping, DFO and Crown Entertainment Casino.
Other things to note
The apartment has been used by short and long term guests, a number of them return to stay again due to the convenient location.
