This heritage property has been featured in local and international commercials and is based in Cape Town's popular Southern Suburbs which wrap around the iconic Table Mountain. It is a 15 minute drive into the City and ideally placed within a few miles of delightful restaurants, world class golf courses, exclusive boutiques and theatres. Beaches, winelands and other hot spots are a short drive away.

We have cut our prices due to the global economic slump. At these special rates we ask guests to feed our 2 lovable dogs, crazy cat and 3 laying hens! Or we can just charge a little more and send the pets to the kennels.

The house was built in 1905 and has the original wooden floors, sash windows with shutters and fireplaces in 3 of the rooms. The house sleeps 6 (or more), and has recently been renovated.

About the neighbourhood
The house is within a few miles radius of delightful restaurants, coffee shops, world class golf courses, exclusive boutiques, theatres, bars and tourist sights . This makes the house an excellent base for exploring Cape Town and surrounds.

We love our neighbourhood as it has a 'community' feel. Our neighbours are helpful and people walk their dogs or ride their bikes up the road to the lovely Rondebosch Common nearby.

We are out of the bustle of the city but a 15 minute drive takes you to the heart of Cape Town and all it has to offer. A walk on the mountain is a 10 minute drive and the beaches are 20 minutes away. The airport is only 15 minutes up the highway.

Airport: Cape Town International: 12.0 km
Railway: Rondebosch: 2.3 km
Ferry: Cape Town harbour: 11.0 km
From the airport by car:
Come out of the airport terminal and take the N2 highway towards Cape Town (head for the mountain).
After about 5 minutes driving, take the off-ramp to the left signposted 10A for Raapenberg Rd/ Mowbray.
At the stop, turn left on to Raapenberg.
Almost immediately take the next exit left marked Klipfontein/Mowbray/Rondebosch.
Travel on up to the traffic lights. Go straight over the lights into Milner Rd, seeing the Childrens Hospital on your left and Rondebosch Common on your right. Almost immediately turn left down the side of the Hospital into Loch Rd. Thornhill Rd is then the second turn to your right.

From Cape Town central:
Take the N2 out of Town, towards the airport. Take exit 9B marked M5 South for Muizenberg. Once on the M5, almost immediately take...
