The house is beautifully maintained and offers a real getaway from it all holiday.
Antonio, Filipe and their families offered a warm welcome (despite us getting lost a little and arriving late on our first evening). The house is beautiful, with excellent facilities for the whole family. There are more than enough bedrooms for everyone with lovely clean furnishings and ample storage for you all. The kitchen is well equipped with a good size family fridge/freezer, a good oven, family sized dishwasher, washing machine and little extras such as the coffee maker and many different pans, cooking trays and storage for items in the fridge. The garden is beautiful. Antonio takes pride in keeping it looking nice, and the addition of being able to pick your own cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers for dinner just a pleasure. The pool is clean and great for a cool off in the lovely sun, and the BBQ area very well equipped. There is an outside shower beside the pool area which is also beautifully clean. We would love to come back to the house for a further visit, its setting is in a country retreat area of National Park so you do need a car to get out and about, and to get to nice eating places.
