Heavenly Hideaway
We stayed 5 days with a family of 7 including a 1,5 year old child. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Lush green garden with swimming pool, the villa spacious and beautifully decorated. A real at home feeling. Max and Lucas caring about us, fulfilling our needs without asking, just listening. Their genuine friendliness is an example for a lot of hospitality organizations. We enjoyed our stay from the first till the last minute.

Tranquil villa in scenic village of Moira
We stayed at Goa Hideaway for one week over the new year and we were a group of 6. Goa Hideaway is perfect for a large group of friends or family, as it is great for lounging around the pool or the large verandah, and for lovely walks through largely untouched Moira village. The villa is immaculately maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who were ready to help out at any time of the day. The villa is a renovated portuguese style home with the classic high ceilings and shaded interiors. The bathrooms are modern with very nice high pressure showers. For those looking to visit the beaches and restaurants regularly, it is a bit far from the nicer beaches, approximately 40 minutes to ashwem, so better suited to groups who appreciate the calm of inland Goa. For meals close by, Andron restaurant just 5 min away is excellent and very reasonably priced. There is some construction work happening near the villa, and we had occasional construction noises disturbing the otherwise absolutely tranquil atmosphere.

Old world charm combined with luxury in the lap of serenity.
Goa Hideaway is truly a hidden spot of luxury in the lush green surroundings of the serene village of Moira. It is away from the madding crowds yet a short drive away from the most popular restaurants and beaches of Goa. The owners have tastefully restored the 140 years old Portuguese villa and furnished it with beautiful antique furniture and artefacts. It is a great feeling to sleep in an antique high four poster king bed. The bathrooms are equipped with modern fittings and a pool has been added to the property. The pool is comfortable for a group of family and friends to lounge in or do short laps. This place is ideal for 2-3 families to spend some quality time together in Goa. Different common spaces (the sitting hall, the large dining room, the veranda next to the pool) in the property are ideal to sit around and lounge with family and friends. Lucas is very friendly and helpful and always ready to please. Goa Hideaway is the perfect place to enjoy the old charm of Goa, the serenity and greenery of Moira and spend some quality and memorable time with friends and family. It is highly recommended to walk/cycle around the quite lanes of Moira and visit the old Moira church.

An oasis of calm in beautiful Goa!
We stayed at Goa Hideaway in Dec-2014 - a group of 5 on a family holiday. This was our first experience of staying at a character property rather than a hotel - we thought we would try something different to the usual North Goa experience and boy were we glad we did! The property is in a quiet village called Moira - just far enough from the touristy hustle and bustle of the beaches and shacks to give you a sense of absolute serenity but also close enough that you can have the best of both worlds. The rooms are well proportioned and comfortable - the bathrooms are exceptional - modern and the showers are like water-jets! The high ceilings add to the charm and the common areas are large. The swimming pool was clear and even lit at night - just the right size for a relaxed dip. The staff made our stay comfortable - you must try the poi (local bread) when in Goa. Overall I would highly recommend this property for families, friends and other groups looking to add a healthy touch of charm to their holiday. We will definitely be visiting again!

Luxurious home in charming village
Our stay at Goa a Hideaway was a perfect blend of Goa charm and relaxation. The house has a lot of character and is spacious enough for a group of 6-8 people. There is also a great garden and lounging pool outside. The house is surrounded by a village that is really easy to walk around in, including an area with a historic church with scenic views. It is also a short drive away from some of Goa's trendiest beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. The owners were easy to communicate with ... I look forward to returning there in the future!

A little piece of heaven on earth
This quaint and extremely comfortable three bedroom villa set in the serene village of Moira, is a place we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were efficient and affable. The entire villa and pool were spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend you visit.

Excellent service, immaculately restored and maintained
What a hidden gem. We didnt know what to expect as our flight got in quite late at night, but Max the helpful housekeeper and Lucas the cook whipped us up some dinner and made us feel at home from the second we walked through the door. As we soon discovered, Lucas and his wife are excellent cooks, and Max keeps the place absolutely spotless. The place is immaculately restored, with a fully functional swimming pool and beautiful lawns. Everything works. We never once had a problem with ACs / geysers or anything else. The only slight negative was the construction going on next door, but we are told that that is soon to stop. All in all a truly superb experience, and we will be back very very soon.

Paradise!!
Based in the US and were wanting to spend some time in Goa but not in your run of the mill 5 star hotel. Stayed here for 5 days...gorgeous serene property with loads of character - literally transported us to an era bygone! Very well maintained with extremely helpful staff. The kids had a blast in the pool or running around/playing in the sprawling garden...and we rented a car so that we could get to the beaches and restaurants. We explored every nook and cranny yet had a tranquil beautifu place to relax in...kind of got the best of both worlds. Its definitely going to be our go to destination whenever we travel to Goa.
