I strongly recommend this apartment, in a quiet street whose gardens in August are all bursting with ripe fruit and vegetables. Our hosts were friendly and generous, always stopping for a chat as we passed each other by, and even offering us freshly picked tomatoes, peppers and aubergines. The apartment was very well equipped - the only thing "missing" was an electric kettle so we boiled water in a pan. The rooms were spacious and there was air-conditioning is one of the bedrooms which was very welcome as we visited during a heat wave. We were invited to use the very beautiful terrace outside, a tiny paradise among all the beautiful plants and flowers, and which contains an open air shower right underneath the fig tree! There is an excellent little shop less than a minute's walk, a supermarket and a beach less than ten minutes away, and many wonderful places to visit, including Trogir, Split and the Cetina Gorge, all very easily accessible by car.
