Stylish stone lodging for 2 in a stunning setting - your own steaming hot tub and sunny courtyard with sprawling outdoor lounge suite, pizza oven and outdoor fire pit. Double wooden bedroom doors swing open to welcome in the country air....or just lounge in the hot tub under the stars. Enjoy the special little luxuries: super-soft robes and slippers, big comfy feather pillows and alpaca throw, crisp linen and the super kingsize bed is pure bliss! The kitchen has a double fold back window so you can sit at the coffee bar and enjoy the inspiring country views....or pass that special mocktail to your partner soaking in the swirling hot water. And afterwards the ensuite heated shower room has a double shower enclosure with multi flow head for those long relaxing showers. Local pub just a short walk across the fields...craft beers and own gin distillery! Gorgeous location and views, and lots to do in the area. Take a few tiny steps to the tub or stride directly from your door onto some of the most beautiful country walks in Wales. And great local restaurants to satisfy your country appetite too: North Wales' Best Country Pub & Restaurant 2018 is just a few minutes drive away (...and one of our favourites with fabulous multi level wine terraces and inspiring views into the Vale of Clwyd is even closer!). Then come home to sit around the fire pit under our starry skies (marshmallows for toasting sound fun?). We send guests our information booklet which includes the best local restaurants, fun things to do, special sights only locals know about, and even the gorgeous beach dedicated to St Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers - voted by Conde Nast as one of the best beaches in Britain! Or do nothing at all except enjoy the country freshness, laze in the courtyard or watch a movie (eclectic collection of movies provided... or bring your own favourites!). Feels a world away, but located only 30min from Chester, an hours drive from Manchester/Liverpool, Huddersfield 90min, 2.5 hours by train from London. Please Note: if you book The Hideaway, the accommodation above will NOT be occupied and you will have private & exclusive use of all the facilities! Kitchen includes: coffee bar and stools to sit and take in the lovely views, twin hob and combi microwave/grill/fan oven, dishwasher, undercounter fridge with ice box, kettle, tea & coffee and all other usual utensils and accessories....everything you need for a great break.More

Came here for two days with my boyfriend after a long hike, it was the perfect place to recuperate and relax. It’s nice staying on the farm and saying hi to the horses each morning! Spotlessly clean, very comfy bed, nice bathroom. Nice little touches...More

Had the most relaxing and lovely weekend at the hideaway. Even though we only live 15-20 minute drive away from here, the location of the cottages just makes you feel like you’re in your own little bubble with beautiful views out onto the hillside. Thomas...More

About the neighbourhood
Not far from the tiny 'city' of St Asaph is this little village with its tiny school and ancient church. The views into the Vale of Clwyd are stunning and from this property you have gorgeous rural views, a flash of the coastline and the snowy peak of Snowdon. No wonder this is officially designated 'An area of outstanding natural beauty'. Our visitors are often entranced as they drive through the main gates and see the outlook for the first time! Access to all that Denbighshire and North Wales has to offer is easy, whether it be the mountains of Snowdon National Park, the wild coastline, historical sites or the ancient walled City of Chester.
Getting around
''North Wales is served by major UK train routes and has an extensive road network including some of Britain's most scenic routes and for those who love a challenging drive, some stunning open roads (including the infamous Evo Triangle). Best of all we are only 2.4 miles from the A 55 so access to all that Denbighshire and North Wales has to offer is easily accessible, whether it be the mountains of Snowdon National Park, the wild coastline, historical sites or the ancient walled City of Chester.
