Can Torras is a beautifully renovated farmhouse in the Gavarres hills, just twenty minutes above the ancient city of Girona.
The Cottage Suite offers a double bedroom with a large living area (a further bed can be added for a third child), and a separate twin bedroom which is perfect for another couple or two children. There is everything you need for snacks and drinks with a fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The splendid bathroom has a rainwater-style shower and there is a big storage area. The Cottage Suite has its own private entrance and there is ample free parking so you can come and go as you please.

About the neighbourhood
The ancient city of Girona is a wonderful city to explore with its ancient building & cathedral, bridges crossing the River Onyar & all the streets and squares full of independent shops, great cafes & restaurants. Within half an hour there is the first of many beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava, S'Agaro & St Feliu de Guixols. Heading inland there is the medieval city of Besalu in the volcanic Garrotxa region or the wine growing foothills of the Pyrenees at Empordà. Salvador Dalì's three museums are all within one hour of Can Torras, and there is lot to see in Barcelona which is a 35 minute journey by the AVE fast train.
Getting around
Can Torras is 7km into the hills of the National Park of the Gavarres. A car is essential to get to us and fully explore the region.
How to get there
Can Torras is easily accessible from Girona airport or train/bus to Girona. A car is needed as there is no public transport, but hire car companies are based at the airport and in town and the journey is only 20 minutes.
