About the neighbourhood
Location With varied scenery and a choice of fine cuisine, a visit to Vire has plenty to offer. Vire is a historic town with a population of around 14,000. The town's strategic position in the centre of Basse-Normandy has been responsible for both its rise and fall throughout its history. If you want to leave behind the stresses of modern day living for a quiet and peaceful location then this is the place for you. Vire and its surrounding villages offer all facilities with every shop ...
