This large well appointed two bedroom rustic French house is set in its own hedged garden on the farm in the small hamlet of Le Verdier surrounded by open farmland and is a haven of peace. The property is surrounded by the stunning medieval towns and villages of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, Coussac Bonneval, Pompadour and Ségur-le-Château. All of which have a great choice of bars, restaurants, markets and supermarkets to stock up on local produce - and there is always something going on somewhere! Adjacent to the lounge is the well appointed modern farmhouse kitchen. The large farmhouse table stands in the centre of the kitchens in front of the wood-burning stove which sits in an inglenook fireplace. The kitchen has all modern appliances including; electric fan oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Through the kitchen is the modern shower room with heated towel rail and separate WC. The wooden staircase leads up to the first floor which has two large bedrooms. Bedroom two has twin double beds and stunning views over the rolling countryside. The luxurious master bedroom has a king-size bed and French doors opening out on to the large balcony overlooking the surrounding farmland. The ideal place for a coffee and croissant for breakfast, aperitifs before dinner or why not end your day on the balcony with a night cap gazing at the stars.More
