About the neighbourhood
Delamere Forest is Cheshire's largest area of woodland and is a place for families to let off steam, escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest. Delamere is also a haven for wildlife including the beautiful small tortoiseshell butterfly, greater spotted woodpecker, white faced darter dragonfly, green woodpecker, siskin and southern hawker dragonfly. Horse Riding: Why not bring your horse on holiday with you, we can offer first class stabling, so you can enjoy the hacking through the forest when ever you want. Also within half an hour away there are a number of equestrian centres you can visit, whether it be eventing/farm rides or showjumping. We have first class facilities all on-site. Delamere offers great walking and cycling along with a cafe and Information centre a...
How to get there
Turn off Station Road (B5152) at the Delamere Train Station and Cafe (signposts to Go Ape) onto Forest Farm Road. Continue past the houses on the right and as you begin an incline, you will see on your right a track over the railway bridge marked with No Entry signs. Ignore these signs and come over that bridge heading towards the black/yellow barrier. Our large wooden gates are to the left of the barrier.
