Salty Holidays is in the best location in Ventnor. Facing south on a quiet road, we are only about 50m to the family friendly beach and only a 5 minute walk to town. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and enjoys the most amazing sea views. Inspired by our love of the sea, our self catering holiday apartment is sunny and bright and are decorated with lovely coastal themes. We have private parking, fast broadband wifi and laundry and the apartment is fully equipped with white bed linen and fluffy towels. We are also dog friendly. Interaction with guests
We use key safes so guests can arrive at their leisure and pick up their own keys. We do not live at the property but are only a phone call away in case of any problems. We provide an information pack in the apartment with all the essential details including wifi codes and local info. We also have notice boards with hints and tips on good places to eat or visit around the island.

About the neighbourhood
Ventnor: With its warm microclimate, tropical plants and our resident little wall lizards, our guests often tell us they feel like they are in the Mediterranean. As well as its family friendly beach, you can enjoy the botanical gardens, fantastic coastal and downland walks with hidden gems such as Steephill Cove. You can try your hand at sea fishing, or relax with a coffee whilst the children play in the famous 'island' paddling pool. There are lots are charming vintage shops and a great variety of cafes and restaurants including freshly caught take away fish and chips from the renowned Haven fishery.
Getting around
Whilst its useful to have a car here, its not essential as we are within walking distance of all the shops, cafes and restaurants in Ventnor. We also have beautiful walks from our doorstep. The island buses are great and they even have open top buses to the main tourist sites in the summer months. There is also a small island train which runs from Shanklin to Ryde and is timetabled to join us with the buses and passenger catamaran and hovercraft.
