At Fox Crossing we offer a bright modern stylish ground floor bedroom with super comfortable king size bed for a great nights sleep.There is a spacious modern tiled en-suite with large shower with stainless steel heated towel rail and fluffy white towels are provided. Complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries are also provided. There is a super large private lounge/dining room for your very own use, here you can unwind with a tea, coffee, fruit tea, fresh milk in the fridge,relax and watch the 42' flat screen freeview Tv or select a Dvd from our library. We also have a collection of books to read. For your own use is a lovely private sunny cottage garden courtyard where you can relax in the sun. We offer a hearty full English Breakfast, Continental or vegetarian made from locally sourced products which is included in your stay. So pleased we found Fox Crossing. Spotlessly clean, lovely comfy bed and great lounge all to ourselves which is such a bonus! Breakfast was lovely and Rosemary was very accommodating when we wanted breakfast a bit earlier (as well as being a lovely host generally!)....More

About the neighbourhood
There are numerous places of interest to visit, the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse. Climb the ancient ruins of Corfe Castle or ride the Swanage Steam Railway. Visit the Abbotsbury Swannery and Abbotsbury sub tropical gardens and take afternoon tea in the tea rooms. Take a day out to Bridport or Lyme Regis and go fossil hunting. Explore Thomas Hardy Country and visit the birthplace of Thomas Hardy. Visit the ancient hill carving of the Cerne Giant in the pretty village of Cerne Abbas.
Getting around
There is a bus stop opposite Fox Crossing B&B for a 10 minute ride to the scenic coastal town of Weymouth with its award winning beach the esplanade and also the old harbour. You could always catch the Jurassic Coast bus that allows you to enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the Dorset Coastline.
