Lochan Lodge offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for 6 adults and 2 children in 4 king bedrooms. It has a superb open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, a second well-equipped kitchen, second lounge, 3 bath/shower-rooms, ample parking and landscaped gardens (with Lochan). Fabulous base for wildlife photography; Osprey visits Lochan in season most days, red squirrels, stoats, pine marten etc on site. Portable Bird Hide and wildlife stealth cams available (free) to assist. No 1 RSPB Wader site in Spey catchment. Situated in the Cairngorm National Park, on a Highland Cattle farm with fantastic open panoramic views, it is an ideal location for many outdoor pursuits (inc. walking, biking, golfing, fishing, bird watching etc) and exploring the Highlands. Owners live nearby and always on hand to offer guidance and advice on things to do in local area and Highlands in general. Steph ran tour company in Highlands for 7 years - so can offer good advice on places to visit, routes, travel times etc. Welcome basket with basic essentials provided on arrival.
