Our accommodation at 3 Brocklehurst Cottages at a glance: • Two-bedrooms on the first floor, (One room can be either a super king size double or twin room) • Luxurious fittings and decor • Spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area perfect for entertaining • First floor bathroom with bath and shower • Downstairs toilet • Outside patio • Well-equipped kitchen • Central heating • Free wi-fi • We have the option for onsite Secured Parking for 1 Car only. which is only a minutes walk from the cottage. Should you require this facility please contact Mel at least 7 days before arrival. Alternatively there is unrestricted parking on the adjacent road, which isn't usually an issue or a long stay car park is only a two minute walk away , a parking permit is available, which enables you to park free of charge between 4pm and 11am and all day Sunday . Outside these hours it costs £3.50 per day • Five minutes by foot to Buxton Opera House, Pavilion Arts Theatre and Pavilion Gardens • Two minutes from main shopping area • Five minutes from the town’s Cultural Quarter • On the edge of the Peak District Park and half an hour by car from Chatsworth House The town’s Cultural Quarter if just five minutes’ walk away, and features some of the North of England’s most fascinating buildings – the Dome, The Crescent, Buxton Opera House, the Pavilion Gardens and England’s oldest continuously operating hotel, The Old Hall, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. The Quarter includes restaurants – Indian, French, Italian, Thai and Swiss – as well as quirky bars and cafes and bijou boutiques in the Cavendish Arcade, a converted thermal bath complex dating back to its hey-day as a spa town. Buxton is on the border of the Peak District National Park, and makes an ideal base for walking, cycling and sight-seeing. More

A lovely place to stay; everything very well thought out. We’ve stayed before, and I’m sure this won’t be our last trip. But the sink plugs had us all foxed!More

Very well planned accomadation, comfortable beds and bedding, very nice bathroom and downstairs toilet, well equipped kitchen and lounge area and just round the corner from the shops, it suited us very well.

Four of us stayed at 3 Brocklehurst Cottages in Buxton to celebrate New Year. Suffice to say, it's a beautiful place for a short break! Centrally placed right behind Buxton High St, it's easy to walk in and out of town and easy to locate....More
