‘The Cobbles’ in a historic part of Eastbourne called ‘Little Chelsea’ is a romantic and cosy Grade 11 ‘Sussex stone’ property very close to the seafront for two people. Being so central and close to the Towner art gallery, I wanted some of the Sussex Artists’ work to influence the feel of this house. Interaction with guests
I will be there to manage the housekeeping (cleaning and laundry) as well as putting in the 'welcome pack' (tea, milk, flowers and a cake). You will arrive and use the 'key safe' to enter the property. The key code will be sent to you after full payment. There is an extensive 'Information book' in the property with all you will need to know, although I will be available on the phone for any further questions. Equally I am happy to advise you prior to your stay.

About the neighbourhood
Two things that make this a unique property is the character/comfort and the location. One of our guests said they parked their car and didn't use it again until they were leaving to go home. It is incredibly central. To one side you have 'Little Chelsea' and the individual shops there, with Eastbourne Station alongside - then you have 'Town' - then the sea and the promenade and galleries, tennis and theatres, then you have The Meads and The Downs. With all that in mind - Furness Rd is a peaceful road and not a thoroughfare.
Getting around
Most things you can see easily on foot. A 'Dotto Train' runs from Holywell to Sovereign Harbour along the seafront, so you can catch this if you wanted to visit the harbour. Eastbourne Station can take you to Lewes and Brighton, or to Bexhill and Hastings. There are also plenty of buses.
