This is a difficult review to write. We loved Copenhagen, but the accommodation was not what we'd expected. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, but I would mention it - and then list its shortcomings.
This rental is in a superb location, in the heart of the tourist centre. Watch boats and tourists from the front windows and, if you want beer and tourist food, you're in the centre of the longest bar in the world (the outdoor seating of all the bars along Nyhavn forms one long bar). Many tourist attractions including Christianshavn, Copenhagen Street Food on Papierøoen, Torvehallern market are all within what we think of as easy walking distance. Gorm's Pizza is good and it's just across the street, as it were.
This central location has some disadvantages. Nyhavn's bars were noisy every evening; with the front room windows open, the noise was more than enough to keep us awake in the front room. The smell of cigarette smoke from the...
