Casa das Laranjeiras, in English Orange Trees, is a modern villa skilfully designed to make the very best use of space. In particular the living room on the ground floor offers ample space for cooking, dining, and comfortable seating for a party of 6. There are patio doors into the garden. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedded room with its own door to the garden, and a shower room.
Upstairs the master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and balconies facing south and west. The second bedroom with twin beds has an en-suite shower room and a balcony facing south. The views from the villa are of heathland.

Changeover is normally on a Saturday. Please contact us if you want to arrive/leave on another day and we will do our best to help. Prices include gas, water, electricity, and bed linen and towels. A breakage security payment of 200 Euro is also required, to be held against any damage or breakages over and above 'fair wear and tear' or the villa being left unreasonably dirty or untidy. This should be paid at the same time as the balance of the cost of the holiday is paid.
About the neighbourhood
Casa das Laranjeiras, number 40 at Pinhal Village, is about 5 minutes walk from the nearest point on the shore of Obidos Lagoon. We are close to the beaches of the lagoon and the bigger beaches and sometimes wilder sea on the west coast. Golf is at Bom Sucesso, Praia D'el Rey and Campo Real. Beaches and best surf is at Baleal and Peniche. There is a water sports centre near Foz do Arhelo which also has interesting bars, cafes and restaurants. Obidos, a beautiful ancient medieval hill town which has a Pingo Doce supermarket on the outskirts, and Porto Sao Martinho, a lovely seaside town with a well signed Intermarche supermarket, are within about 30 minutes drive.
