An unspoiled nature that will make your stay at the Fattorie more comfortable and relaxing. The real stars are the vineyards and olive trees, real pearls set in this land of Tuscany. There are about 40 hectares of vineyards, entire hills covered with vines. The vines are pruned cordon, with very low yields per hectare. And the real show begins in September, when green grapes is transformed gradually into orange and red. At that time the harvest begins to give very good wines, as is tradition in the area. Wine is appreciated and rewarded in Italy and worldwide. The olive groves are great actors: 3800 olive trees, scattered on the estate. An heritage that gives each year an world class extra virgin olive oil of high quality certified. A deep color and robust taste, obtained by wise cold pressing as tradition requires. The first building of the estate, right next to the entrance, is the old cellar and the place where the grapes were dried. Today, following a careful restoration, the building is the headquarter of the property and it hosts the reception, the cellar where the wine ages in barrique barrels and the restaurant. The Ristorante delle Fattorie is located on the upper floor. It is a large lounge with exposed beams and a big traditional fireplace. All the decor is rustic and features ancient instruments of the farmers and horse saddles. This is where breakfast is served every morning: a buffet breakfast with homemade cakes and pastries, cold meats and cheeses, juices, coffee and tea. Upon request, dinner and brunch are also available: they will ensure our guest to enjoy traditional Tuscan dishes and local products of the farm. Today, only 13 remain standing.
