About the neighbourhood
Our house is located at the southern end of the quiet residential area Weidach and provides unobstructed views to the east of the Ammergau Alps, and south and west of the Allgäu Alps and in the foreground on the historic town of Fussen. This can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. From Lech, which flows to the east, our house separates only a large meadow and the Lech riverside path on which you reach the Forggensee in approximately 1.5 km, the fourth largest lake in Bavaria and is 2 km away, the magnificent Festspielhaus feet. In the other direction the Lech riverside path leads to historic baroque monastery of St. Mang past, where today the City Council and the Museum of Fuessen are, to Bad Faulenbach and through the "Valley of the Senses" and the peaceful Faulenbach Valley to the legen...
How to get there
By car: Coming from the west and north on the Autobahn A 7, access from the East via the motorway A 96 until exit Buchloe, continue on the B 12 to exit Marktoberdorf and from there via the B 16 to Fussen. By train: Hour from Munich (journey time 2 hours) and Augsburg (travel time 1:45 hours)
