NEW first put online in February 2016. SEASONAL ACTIVITIES. OPENING EACH YEAR OF 24 MARCH TO NOVEMBER 1. The Guest House Poppies is located in the heart of town, close to museums and restaurants! Against a hill and built on a former orchard, it dominates the Seine valley. The apple trees have disappeared to make way for poppies in the month of May with fragrant roses, iris, flower and fruit bushes. It will seduce you with the light, the colors, the silence and the nature that surrounds it. After a quiet and restful night, a gourmet breakfast is served in the garden or in the living room bathed in light. For her exhibition, she enjoys sunshine throughout the day and chairs are available for a well-deserved relaxation after the visit....NEW first put online in February 2016. SEASONAL ACTIVITIES. Interaction with guestsI live in the house and I am quite available. Spaces available: living room, picnic table and deck chairs on the terrace facing south. The room is upstairs and I can not carry your luggage which is often very heavy. It is possible to leave them on the ground floor safely.

We so enjoyed our overnight stay. Dianna is a perfect host with heaps of information, the room spotlessly clean and for us, the perfect fresh breakfast. A safe car park on the premises. Be aware, there are stairs to climb with the suitcases.More

Exactly the place I was imagining to my self on a holiday in a village in France. A minute walk from the house of Monet. Highly recomended.

About the neighbourhood
Ideal to visit the sites at a leisurely pace is 2 days. The house and gardens of Claude Monet, the Museum of Impressionism, the museum of natural mechanics, artists, galleries, a bakery, restaurants, souvenir shops, the church Ste Radegonde and the tomb of Claude Monet, and also the discovery of the hills, the preferred terrain for hikers. And do not miss a walk in the village remained authentic and preserved by our desire to harmonize the beauty of the site and the large influx of visitors. A hotel and bed and breakfast on site.
Getting around
Mandatory car to visit the area. Some bus to visit Vernon or bicycle rental.
