Climbing the stairs to the second floor (no elevator), one accesses a private balcony reminiscent of Milanese “running balcony” buildings: it is decorated with plants and furnished with a small table, ideal for breakfast on sunny days. Access to the apartment is through a second door.
The living room is painted blue and has a sofa bed (140 cm), a table and four chairs, a sideboard for dishes, a ceramic stove, a coat closet and a television. The bedroom is in the back right near the stone wall, furnished with a double bed (140 cm), a closet and a chest of drawers. The window faces the inside courtyard, so the apartment is fairly quiet.
On the other side of the living room, on the left, there are two doors: the right one leads to the kitchen, which is small but well equipped, with a fridge, spacious freezer and a traditional combination oven; while through the door on the left lies the bath, with a bathtub, sink, WC and washing machine.

At the south end of Marais lies the Hotel de Ville, the city hall of Paris.
What’s more, this is one of the most fashionable neighbourhoods: it contains the boutiques of rising young designers and other trendy places.
