Climbing the stairs to the second floor (no elevator), one accesses a private balcony reminiscent of Milanese “running balcony” buildings: it is decorated with plants and furnished with a small table, ideal for breakfast on sunny days. Access to the apartment is through a second door. The living room is painted blue and has a sofa bed (140 cm), a table and four chairs, a sideboard for dishes, a ceramic stove, a coat closet and a television. The bedroom is in the back right near the stone wall, furnished with a double bed (140 cm), a closet and a chest of drawers. The window faces the inside courtyard, so the apartment is fairly quiet. On the other side of the living room, on the left, there are two doors: the right one leads to the kitchen, which is small but well equipped, with a fridge, spacious freezer and a traditional combination oven; while through the door on the left lies the bath, with a bathtub, sink, WC and washing machine. Area: Marais is a lively Parisian quarter located on the right bank of the Seine, north of the St. Louis Island, in the third and fourth district, between Place de la Bastille, Place de la République and Rue du Renard. Tourist attractions in the area make it one of the most popular parts of Paris: among the attractions, we note Place des Vosges (a square lined with brick buildings), the Picasso Museum, the Carnevalet Museum (which gives the history of Paris), a museum about the art and history of Judaism and the National Archives, which houses the French historical museum. At the south end of Marais lies the Hotel de Ville, the city hall of Paris. What’s more, this is one of the most fashionable neighbourhoods: it contains the boutiques of rising young designers and other trendy places. Public transportation: The closest metro stops are: Filles du Calvaire and Saint Sébastien - Froissart (line 8). Not far off, there are also the Chemin Vert (line 8), Saint Paul (line 1), Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 and 11) and Rambuteau (line 11) stops. Parking: The nearest parking is 1 Tosca Park 13, rue Geoffroy l'Angevin, 75004, about 446 metres away. Additional amenities: SofabedMore
