Perfect home for a family of of six or eight with easy access to Bordeaux, Saint Emilion and Dune du Pilat. The owner was very friendly and helpful and met us upon arrival. The nice yard gave our grandchildren room to burn off some energy.

About the neighbourhood
OT Bordeaux - Thomas Sanson It would be hard to leave without visiting the châteaux of Roquetaillade, Cazeneuve and Vayres, not forgetting the mediaeval towns and villages of Rions, La Réole, Saint-Macaire and Castelmoron d'Albret, or the bastide towns of Créon, Blasimon, Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, Pellegrue, Monségur, Cadillac, and Libourne. Also well worth a look are the 19th -century seaside architecture in the resorts of Arcachon, Lacanau and Soulac, Le Corbusier workers' city in Pessac, and the family homes of Montesquieu, Toulouse-Lautrec and François Mauriac. Whetting your appetite... Bordeaux Aquitaine's capital city and the world capital of wine has done itself proud these past few years – remodelled quays, a brand-new tramway, a city-centre for pedestrians only and listing as a ...
How to get there
From the airport, the best and reasonable solution is to rent a car and drive to Carignan de Bordeaux: about 25 minutes drive if traffic is light. Probably more during peak hours. From the railway station, you can rent a car and drive to Carignan (15 mn). If you have your own car and come by the road, the easiest way is to enter our full address in your GPS. If you don't have one, simply ask us for access details.
